In December last year Mr Sangachin visited his family in Iran.
He told his wife he had been unfaithful to her and tension between them continued as Nedjah believed he had remarried during his trip.
The court heard Nedjah persuaded her husband to come to bed on the afternoon of February 17 this year and they had sex.
Afterwards she told him she had a "surprise" and told her husband to cover his eyes as they were naked in bed.
Jonathan Sharp, prosecuting, said: "At that point she produced a sharp knife, which she had fetched from the kitchen, and plunged it with force into his chest, penetrating his heart and his left lung and narrowly missing the coronary artery."
Nedjah, who came to the UK to study English, initially failed to help her husband as blood pumped from the wound but eventually dialled 999.
Nedjah tried to claim her husband had inflicted the injury upon himself then said he was stabbed accidentally as the pair struggled.
Matthew Bean, for Nedjah, said his client had been receiving treatment for mental health problems.
The Recorder of Leeds, Judge Peter Collier, told Nedjah he was satisfied her husband had been unfaithful.
He added: "I am satisfied that you lured him to have sex with you in order to get him into the position where you could strike him as you did."

Their marriage seemed to be over after he served her with divorce papers.
And after a failed reconciliation attempt, Laura Dern has restarted divorce proceedings and now looks certain to leave Ben Harper for good.
The 45-year-old Golden Globe winner filed her formal legal response to Harper’s divorce petition on Friday at Los Angeles County Superior Court.

According to TMZ she has hired divorce-lawyer-to-the stars Laura Wasser, and is asking for primary physical and joint legal custody of the couple’s two children Ellery, ten, and seven-year-old Jaya,.
In addition she is also seeking spousal support, child support, and attorneys fees from folk and reggae musician Ben.
Sources also told the website their attempted reconciliation was 'very rocky' and she now wants out.
They also said she is already the primary caregiver for the couple’s two children, as well as playing a significant role in raising the 42-year-old musician's two other offspring from a prior marriage.

Following Dern's win for Best Actress in a Television Series Musical or Comedy, she and Harper, a Grammy-winning musician, looked very much together at the HBO bash at the Beverly Hilton.
The 2010 divorce filing by Harper, who Dern married back in 2005, was said to have 'blindsided' the actress.
Although Harper had claimed at the time that the couple had been separated for months - according to friends, they had been living and travelling together more recently.

Harper cited irreconcilable differences in the filing and asked that spousal support be denied to Dern and that the couple share custody of their children.
Prior to tying the knot with Harper, Dern has been linked to Nicholas Cage, Kyle MacLachlan, Jeff Goldblum and Billy Bob Thornton, to whom she was engaged to and living with when he suddenly married Angelina Jolie in 2000.
Dern, who was away filming at the time, read about the marriage, and the obvious end of her relationship, in the newspapers.
She has said of the break-up: 'I left our home to work on a movie, and while I was away, my boyfriend got married, and I’ve never heard from him again.
'It’s like a sudden death. For no one has there been any closure or clarity.'
Following the Thornton-scandal, Dern eventually met Harper at one of his concerts in 2000.
At the time he was separated from his first wife, Joanne, with whom he has two children.

But it was only when you got close enough, it was revealed to be his lover Sam wearing a brunette wig.

Joining the couple at the festival were Sam's big sister Billie and a group of friends.

Amazingly, Sam tweeted a photo of her air-kissing Lauren - who she shared a fiery argument with in Series 3 of TOWIE when the former was dating the latter's ex-fianc Mark.
However, now neither of them are dating Mark and Sam has moved on with Joey, perhaps it's all water under the bridge.

Ahead of their reunion, Sam attended the House Festival in Chiswick with Blue singer Duncan James and Tara Palmer-Tomkinson on Friday night.
